Winnipeg gets a 2C who they only need to pay for a year, and Vegas clears up cap space. Good deal for both teams, although it could depend what the condition on the pick is.
Good choice for the jets but really big gain for Vegas, fair deal but Vegas now can make a splash while the jets can hopefully gain depth down the center
The problem for the teams, though, is they can't agree to something with the player before noon ET and then officially sign it at noon, so all these teams clearing cap space might not get the guys they wanted to get.

knowing Chevy is probably based on winning the cup or making the playoffs...

I know, was just speculating on how serious they were in terms on going all in on Pietrangelo. Apparently the answer was VERY serious.
Fair deal Winnipeg gets 2c who has decent chemistry with the players on the team, Vegas gets that much needed cap space, a depth dman and a conditional pick
It’s a good trade. Was hoping chevy could get something from taking him on but if it’s a 4th I don’t mind. How satisfied I am really depends on the conditions
Fitting Roslovic with any type of cap hit is becoming increasingly harder with this. At least if Little comes back and Perreault isn't moved
Chevy said that he was getting a confirmation of if little will play before today. He probably already knows little is down or he wouldn’t make this trade I bet.
The flexibility this gives them? They always have stuff up their sleeves and now They aren’t over the cap, and if they can move fleury like they have planned to they could be at a comfortable cap hit, and fill their roster out with a UFA.
It shows how hard it is to move cap this offseason... From the Bjugstad trade to this, all players traded got their value at the lowest due to their cap hit
Still a huge relief for VGK, but thats so cheap for a 2nd center
