Unlike most I don't see Hall going to CBJ. I'm sure they're planning something big with all this space, but plans might have a much harder time coming to fruition this year.

Think that’s precisely what you do. I think they have plans to spend some of that money. I just don’t see it being hall... thinking it’s something smaller. Maybe a few smaller pieces.

I do think Hall is going Nashville. Hynes bringing his boy back.

Think CBJ plans to sign Dadonov maybe...they tend to like their Russians... Or Hoffman. He's a nice goalscorer.

Don't think there's any realistic targets. Kahun or Stecher aren't really needed and Duclair is not returning to Columbus after that latest failure of a stint.

How is the voting so one sided? Murray had some of the worst rel numbers among all CBJ defenders, makes $4.5 million a year and has a high probability of missing a quarter of the season every year.

getting a 5th rounder back to free up that kind of cap space is a HUGE win for CBJ. Not to mention that Murray is a UFA after next year

Columbus are looking like they want to strike big in free agency today, and not many teams were high on Murray given his history (and his analytics). Gavirkov, Carlsson and Harrington could easily replace Murray in his role as well.

This will look a lot better for the Jackets if they land a major forward. Unless Murray somehow has a late breakout season in New Jersey, I don't think this is as lopsided as people are making it out to be.
