Description
If a combo of Lankinen, Delia, Subban is the tandem this team is going no where. Blow it up for futures. Get a top 5 pick. Yes it's probably an over reaction but I don't see this hawks team competing unless they bring in a new starter, which it sounds like Stan Bowman won't do. He seemed very confident in what we have.

avs decline....again they are not trading Kaut for rentals. Find a new trade to post for Saad bc Kaut isnt happening

Maybe not. But I think IF you were able to get that first out of Toronto, you'd need to include 50% salary retention. If there's a deal to be made there (and I doubt the Hawks are in sell mode so I don't think so) I doubt it includes a #1, but maybe a 2nd and 4th?

They just won’t move kaut; they protected his elc for a reason and Sakic told him last season they aren’t trading him when all the hall rumours came out

They would move Bowers or helleson over kaut

no. you guess wrong. Just with a UFA that is as good as he is. And there are a lot of UFAs that are as good as he is. Due to Covid, a lot of teams are forced to spend less money, so the UFA market will probably not be a bidding war for crazy dollar

Not sure who you're going to go after. Putting a lot into landing Gudas or Tanev I guess. The only RD options left really. Petro is in a whole different category and the leafs don't have the cap anyways (not that they couldn't make moves but it would be tight

Brodie, Hamonic and the whole bunch.

Murphy is not worth giving up that much for a team with a weak prospect pool
