Unless Vegas really puts together a strong package to move him I don't see why teams don't wait until well after Friday at which point Vegas can't sign a big name and goalies would be well on their way to sorted out.

Vegas cant give away fleury right now so the power is not in Vegas's hands. if they want a shot at signing a coveted UFA such as pietrangelo (rumors is Vegas is in the running) then they will have to offload Fleury somehow.

tuch, fleury and a 2nd/3rd for ryan and bennett with no salary retention seems fair to me from the flames stand point. other teams will be offering similar packages where fleurys awful contract is either offset by salary retention or taking back player salaries in return + a sweetener like a pick or prospect
