From the start I've been saying this is a fair trade. This was one of my favorite ideas on the site. But habs fans kept advertising Domi as something he isn't. The most overrated player on this website has been moved for a package he is legitimately worth.

This feels great. After all those months of habs fans yelling at me for what they said was a bad take.... it warms my heart. Humble your strong personalities, MTL.

Right? As a pens fan I member all the Domi for Poulin and 15 overall. And that was the minimum Habs fans were asking for. There were some that asked for more.

Good value trade for Montreal. I don't think they could realistically have hoped for more for Domi.

I was angry at first when we traded Galchenyuk for Domi. You never know how things can evolve.
I don't think I have been arrogant to CLB fans but I was wrong big time on Domi's value apparently, so it is normal to do a little mea culpa.

be hopeful all you want, but Andersen has literally one season over 30 points (47 points) and Domi has one season under it (29 in 59 games). and he's older. And Domi can play at least a little C.

Dubois - Domi - Jenner is pretty solid center depth, which has been an issue for CBJ for a while.

If Domi is worth Nylander and Nylander is worth Seth Jones, then Domi is actually worth Seth Jones.

Do they though? All the sought-after guys that were traded to Columbus recently bolted at the first opportunity (Bobrovsky, Panarin, Duchene, Dzingel). Guys like Carter and Gaborik were notoriously not happy and essentially demanded trades for less than fantastic returns.
