Change the '21 1st in the Dumba deal to their 10th overall and it's closer.

Is the Anaheim deal meant to be that we're trading up to 6th to draft Askarov? What is that about?

Yeah for 2 x $4.5M Anthony Cirelli is staying in Tampa. And besides that doesn't get him anyways.

No just that we are drafting Askarov at 9. Anaheim is the placeholder team.

I would trade Dubnyk for anything useful. I heard GMBG is trying to get a 1st and SJ fans want to trade scraps. Sounds like SJ really likes the Jones/Dubnyk tandem. So I put it as a 2nd. I would be fine switching it with a 3rd, 4th, or really anything.

Theory was trade the pieces for a $6 mill offer sheet to be able to sign Cirelli to lower contract. Can add a little more to get the lower cap hit. Or if it really matters just OS Cirelli at 6. Tampa is really in a bind especially if no one waives.

Sharks literally said they aren’t trading first or seconds this year unless they have to (meaning a can’t miss deal).
Every sharks Fan is saying scraps because we literally read Kevin kurz interview/ zoom call with Doug Wilson where he said this

Gotcha. Just going off what I saw. But still would be fine making it a mid round pick or prospect. In the scheme of things that trade doesnt make a big difference.

We’ll see what happens later today the trade call is supposed to be announced since we just got Donato for a 3rd
