Can't imagine any team wanting Burns and his 8m contract. If the Leafs were to trade Marner it would be for equal value on the ice or for lots of cap space. Getting just 4m extra cap space and Kane isn't nearly enough for the Leafs even with the first rounder.

I don't want Marner. The Sharks need depth, not more expensive players. I hate Marner's contract as well.

Both teams pass. The value is skewed too much into San Jose's favor. Burns really holds no value at this point.
