I’m pretty sure Vancouver would decline. I wouldn’t even want Zadorov back in a trade even though we’re trading him and the Avs would decline that anyways and Boston def says no. DeBrusk is really good and Thompson hasn’t even proved he can play in the NHL yet and Zadorov is a mediocre at best defenseman. Also if you bring back both Risto and Montour and play them together then good luck being a winning team because if they are playing together get ready for a lot of goals scored on us because they were dreadful together last year. Personally I’d trade both of them for cheap and keep Miller bc he’s cheaper and better than those two. I like some your ideas but the trades would have to be tweaked imo

I've heard positive feed back for the Vancouver trade from Vancouver fans, clears cap and brings in a competent top 4 dman. I dont see how the Avs decline, theyre getting the best player in the trade. Boston is looking for a top 4 LHD for DeBrusk I've been told - I completely disagree that Zadorov is mediocre. Montour spent nearly 50% of his ice time 5v5 with Risto last year and Risto had one of his best pro seasons, Montour was a +13, and the Sabres D was in the top 10 in the NHL by many metrics - so I really cant agree with you there either. That just sounds like Buffalo hate that gets regurgitated by people that didnt watch the Sabres .
