In theory you’re right but I think Sakic feels he is a real #1 goalie away from being a true Cup Contender. When TB traded a first and Nolan Foote for Coleman most people thought TB GM was out to lunch. Now he gets to eat whatever he wants for lunch.

Personally...i’d rather not trade Carlo and not trade for OEL. So it’s a no from me. But logistically something along these lines could be done.

However this 3 way scenario would leave Boston without enough cap space to sign Debrusk and Grizz.

The difference was that TB didn't just trade for Coleman, they traded for his amazing contract. Capspace has a very high value right now. Moving $7m isn't easy in this league right now, especially considering that Rask has a 15 team no trade list.
