I would not be happy with that trade at all.

I can see nylander pesce being sorta fair deal. Add ons for Andersen I think is a close reflection to the current market for moving goalies. The loss in value for moving him in a flooded market is made somewhat justified by cap savings. I think it’s a good move if moving on from Andersen is the plan however I personally don’t think it’s wise.

Leafs pass. Nylander for Pesce is Hall for Larsson 2.0

Well I know this was in jest. Canes are okay without this. The Nylander-Pesce deal is past its prime. Its was over 2 years ago.

They already tried to trade Pesce for nylander once after pesce’s best season. Dubas laughed and said slavin.

Yup... and that’s how it ended. So stop trying to say Larsson errr I mean Pesce = nylander.

Two thoughts:
1. Value to their team alters the value when requesting a trade
2. Due to the high volume of Andersen returns Pesce, Hamilton, or 13OA, your request is denied

Absolutely none of my agm’s contain that kind of junk. Your first point is valid... that’s why the leafs declined it.

I’m sorry there are so many leafs fans on this site that make dumb trades. If it makes you feel any better the same percentage make horrible trades and signings for the leafs as well.

I think some Canes fans realize Nylander is worth more than Pesce. We ask for an overpayment to consider it. Of course there is one fan who goes overboard on the requests.

Im sure your ACGMs may not but unfortunately the ones that do are just to many.

i'm using this tool to play around with some trade ideas in anticipation of free agency.

it's pretty hard as a fan to gauge what a guy's value is on the market. Nylander is my favourite Leaf -- I don't want to see him traded. just looking at some hypothetical options. i don't undervalue Nylander...but from what I hear, other GMs around the league do. so i'm trying to think of a realistic option.

anyway.....i'm pretty blown away by how many people come in hot on this forum and tell me i'm a dumb POS....it's pretty funny.

We definitely take it too seriously, shouldn’t be anyone directing things at you rather than your agm’s... unless you try to trade Johnsson for a 2nd, it is then apparently in God’s hands.
