Well whether they like it or not it fixes a large need for them and gives them two assets they can move for a top 6 winger.

I disagree. This deal would leave our top six just as bad as it used to be, and dont you think theres a reason toronto wants to be rid of Kerfoot? They need a 3C just as bad as we do if not worse, but are adamant on getting rid of him.

Sorry I just dont agree. In a bubble hes a good asset but you have to take into account our situation. Obviously this deal you take and just flip Kerfoot, but im talking about actually acquiring him.

Looking at the past four seasons:
Nylander: 61 points in 81 games, 61 points in 82 games, 27 points in 54 games, 59 points in 68 games.
Arvidsson: 61 points in 80 games, 61 points in 78 games, 48 points in 58 games, 28 points in 57 games.

I get that Nylander is 3 years younger than Arvidsson and still might not have reached his ceiling, but Arvidsson is signed to a better deal and one year removed from a 34 goal season in 58 games. These two are closer than people think, and I don't see either team really being that interested in trading either player unless it's a crazy package coming back.
