Flames pass and start a petition to stop you from making trades ever again. Andersson is already Calgary’s 3rd or even 2nd best defenceman so no chance you get him.

lmfao price 2c? Kuzy would be a 1c in nashville. Kuzy is way way better than Duchene and Johansen and hes cheaper..... He's on a really solid deal f or a 70-80 point center.

Nashville takes this deal so fast they would exceeded the speed of sound

lol

Try more like Panik+Caps 2021 2nd round pick for Erne/Perlini perhaps. Detroit's not surrendering picks.

Actual Lol. But only because it's so true.

Gosh, when are Johansen, Duchene, and Turris going to live up to their contracts or suddenly trade themselves away?

This year there's a really weak UFA crop at center, so there might be takers after Haula signs.

*edited to add that Kuznetsov led the NHL in playoff points in 2018, and is a #1C when it counts.

**2nd edit to compliment OP on understanding NSH's expansion protection needs, and to add that in my book, Kuznetsov will always be a 1L who just gets stuck at center because Ovechkin. And to think how funny it would be if NSH scored another 1L from WSH for another checking line scrub. Or is Fabbro alone worth Kuznetsov?

the flames trade is braindead. take the picks and put it on the flames side and you still havent reached the value for the flames players youve proposed

was looking at a better round pick with Panik heading Detroit way for a pick in a round that Detroit had multiple of in a round, Perlini would intrigue me a little on 3rd line LW..... good counter IMO

probably would add something to even deal out, looking at Bonino maybe rediscovering magic with Hagelin, worse case is that that 4.1 comes off books and Fabbro is someone to groom with Fehervary as future top pair.... probably some tweaks could be made, plus getting that 7.8 off books to give wiggle room especially with Ovie and Vrana coming up next off season.....

always open to counters with main things of a #1 goalie heading to Flames (or other team if it works better somewhere else) and future #1 pick heading back to DC to start rebuilding the organization while in this couple year window of Ovie still.... Andersson might be reaching for stars a little too much, trying to get a RHD, was looking for a 2nd-3rd line wing first, but with limited cap space, don't need another 4M+ deal being a dud....

Was looking at clearing some cap for future if Bonino didn't pan out reuniting with Hagelin, might have been able to up that pick to a #1 perhaps, I see Fabbro and Fehervary as potential #1 pair in future... counter offers on all these are good, what this site is all about I believe, throw some mud on the wall, see what others might tweak or take off table and have some good hockey banter, especially this year with flat cap and many stars might be on move you wouldn't ordinarily think would be......

definitely not for Panik, pick and Leason for Erne........ maybe Ottawa a better idea on this one, could get a young guy that might be buried under all the top picks they've amassed last couple years

WSH ends up having to protect 8 players, rather than 7 forwards and 3 D, after this deal. So that's the big compensation: NSH gets two extra protection spots. WSH might even end up having to trade a pick to Seattle to convince them to take Oshie, rather than just seeing how many goals he can score this year and then leaving him exposed.

don't have to be an ass about it, Andersson was definitely a stretch to throw into this deal all about throwing out ideas and getting responses that are somewhat intelligent (unlike most of this one), Samsonov is a #1 goalie that could be one for a decade...... threw Parsons in deal so Caps had a prospect goalie in deal coming back to give Caps another possibility for Holts heir apparent.... always ways to counter and make other ideas off of it, including seeing if a better package in in another organization

won't be able to do Oshie move til after we see how many goals he scores this year smile.... I like the point though definitely could be some moves in that area also... still not 100% sold on Siegenthaler, good on PK but still showed struggles 5 on 5, especially with Alexeyev in the wings as well...

Even if Kuznetsov magically becomes the top six center who's production doesn't tank in NSH, the Preds don't have the cap space to accommodate his contract. They need to move a center this off-season, not bring in another one with term and a high salary. Fabbro is an important part of their future, so including him is a non-starter. The prospect pool is shallow, so they'd be hesitant to give up picks unless they're getting something back that they really want. Boyd doesn't have any value to NSH.

Kuzy value is .... 1st, high end prospect and roster player. Kuzy is a 70-80 ppoint center than is great/elite... high end great low end elite

Duchene cost columbus ...2019 first-round pick, prospects Vitaly Abramov and Jonathan Davidsson, and a conditional first-rounder if Duchene resigns with Columbus. Kuzy is way better his price tag will also be higher

That's fine. Trade him to a team that would be interested in him, and can accommodate his cap hit, for pieces they are willing to give up. This proposal lacks all three of those elements.
