God no. We would be insane to trade Cozens AND a first for Laine. Laine is very one dimensional in that he’s literally a PP specialist. He’s terrible 5-on-5 and he’s awful defensively. There’s a reason Winnipeg doesn’t want him

sure while the goals would be nice I'm afraid the line would most likely give up more than they score that's how bad Laine is defensively but that's just my opinion

He's worked on his game this year. Not like 2 years ago when you could only find him setting up at the point lol

I’ve watched him he still plays like he’s half asleep most of the time if he’s not on the Scheifele line. I’m really not interested in Laine. Obviously he’s not available but I’d much rather have Ehlers or hell even Rosolvic. I just don’t think the Sabres can afford Laine, Reino, Dahlin, Joker, especially because I think Cozens will be a 2C at some point maybe not this season but 2 years from now. He’s got speed and he’s got a really nice shot
