You are out to lunch if you think you offered anywhere close to the value needed to get Andersson alone let alone adding in Bennett. You're trading them a thirty one year old goaltender with only one year left on his contract who is coming off the worst year in his career and a AHL prospect with maybe 10 % of a chance of even cracking the NHL as a 3rd pair player.

Out of all the goalie options this summer you went with Graig Anderson? Why did you leave out Josh Anderon? Hes gonna feel lonely being left out of the Anderson Saga.

Welcome to CapFriendly. Sometimes it's not too friendly.

We already have two Alex Kerfoot's. Their names are Alex Iafallo and Adrian Kempe. And if you're thinking that we might play him at center, we have Gabe Vilardi and Blake Lizotte.

For your future reference, we also have no interest in Andreas Johnsson, Travis Dermott or Jeremy Bracco -- Dermott primarily due to the expansion draft.

Kerfoot can play wing and Andersson’s career high is 22 points. Bennett was getting pushed out of Calgary until his playoffs. Calgary fixes their goalie situation. 1 year left... doesn’t mean they can’t resign him.

So is Iafallo. I covered both LW and C in my original response. Wherever you think he's going, we don't need Kerfoot. He might be a slight upgrade at LW or #3C, but at a cap hit of at least $1 million more and a similar increase in real money.

Andersson is a Defenseman. I don't care what his career high in points is. He is exactly what the leafs need and his age, handedness, and potential make him very valuable. This off season has many options for teams to fix their goaltending. No reason to trade one of our brightest young players for a goalie who will be a UFA in one year.

Yea Andersson is exactly what the Flames need, which is why they aren't trading him after just signing him to an extension.
They're especially not going to trade him for an aging slow Goaltender of which they can get better for less and or go after one of the big UFA's which are also better.

You want Andersson? The return starts with Matthew's so let that sink in.

Two things can be true at once. It can be true that proposal of Andersson for Andersen is laughable, but the thought that Matthew would be the starting point for trading for Andersson is almost if not more laughable. If the leafs offer you a Matthews for Andersson swap you ****ing take it an run.

Andersson for Matthew's is the redundant "not a fkn chance" counter proposal I offer to all the idiot leafs fans who think he's worth nothing.
It wasn't meant to be serious smile
