Wouldnt want to see MTL do the first trade, but I think its what it would take.

Substitute Bear with a pick and I think its more appealing to Edmonton, maybe a 2021 1st

I'd like to see MTLpull that first trade. We acquire 22 years old guy who score an average of 35 goal per season. 6foot5 206 pounds. And you don't touch KK Suzuki and Romanov.

That Laine trade bores me from a Jets perspective and Edmonton should quickly reject that trade.

I would think so yes, Bear is a top 4 dman for them and with Klefbom looking like he'll be sidelined for a while and Larsson a UFA they can't be trading Bear.

Right now it doesnt seem so bad but the noise about Norlinder is getting more and more hyped as he has been really good in his first games in SHL, add in a top 5 pospect not in the NHL, a Selke caliber player exended and its a lot of quality from different positions for a pretty one dimensional player. Laine has improved in that area but I dont know if Claude will use him properly

Value is there and fit all Winnipeg needs- now the questions is, do they want Qty quality or the best player in any trade...
If they want the best player: Winnipeg would go like: Laine+ NIku for Seth Jones or for Roman Josi or for Werrensky... than the best player would be trade in Winnipeg.

Seriously I love Danault but he will never be a top 3 finalist for the Selke

I know he wont be but 6th in voting this year while out scoring 2/3 of the finalists at 5 on 5 scoring is still a really good player.
