What did everyone think about their team's selections?

Pretty good. Guhle was a solid pick. Myšák & Farrell could be steals. It’ll be interesting to see how 102nd overall high school player Jack Smith plays.

Nothing that I’m mad about, so feeling pretty good overall.

I'm fascinated that we were the team to take the swing on Lapierre. I'm sure it's just us thinking that he's the best player on the board, but it makes me wonder where he fits in our lineup long-term if he makes it. In terms of trying to keep the window of contention open longer, making a pick like this could get us our next 1C, so I'm fascinated to see how he develops in a few years.

The rest of our picks were a mixed bag for me. I like Trineyev as a player, but I thought there were a handful of significantly better options at that pick, specifically Chromiak. I doubt Hughes makes it, and Bjorklund just seems like a normal, late round goalie flyer. But if we were taking a goalie, Skotnikov would've been my guy at that spot. Huge fan of trading back in to get Magnusson though, he's really talented and I think he has a legit shot. Overall, I give us a B- or a C+. But whatever happens with Hendrix is going to decide the grade and nothing else.

Bruins:
I dont know why Don Sweeney doesnt believe in pick values for example the guys he took in the 2nd and 3rd round are likely there in the 5th and 6th. so maybe he should have traded back gotten a couple more picks for where he was taking these players. But i thought at 58 with potential first round talent hirvonen still there they should have jumped on that opportunity and didnt. then in the 3rd round there were a few players still available at 89 and they went early a 2nd time. Both players after doing some research look like decent prospects however. Lohrie is a poised puck moving dman, kuntar has a good shot, i love the langenbrunner pick, think thats great value in the 5th. Riley duran seems like another sean kuraly type player, gunna be a 200 foot player that plays hard all the time. in summary i didnt love their draft. there were players i thought that would have been better for the bruins at their respective picks. they grabbed 4 players that are just starting college hockey though so maybe its a long game of draft and develop and see what youve got in 4 years.
