As a Detroit fan thats no where near close. Detroit more high end talent you don't get that by trading the first pick of the second round for a bunch of 3 digit picks.

Not sure that is enough incentive to drop 9 spots for DET.

The 32nd pick is basically a late 1st will next year. The only way it's getting moved is to move us up into the mid to low 20's if there's a player Yzerman is interested in like Lukas Reichel but Detroit's not moving down to pick 41 from pick 32.

I'll trade you the 32nd pick for Toronto's 1st.

NJD decline. The jump from 2nd round into top-18 is a big one. At that point in draft, jumping 1-3 spots would cost a 3rd, jumping 4-6 spots a 2nd.

This is 14 spots...no one has jumped 14 spots into 1st round in last 20 years.

Wings pass, we aren't trading that pick for a bunch of late picks.
