No way Carolina does that, but I think you could’ve gotten more in a hypothetical WPG deal. Lindholm value is fair as well. Nice job man

I can't tell what CAR would want in a potential deal tbh. Skjei looks like a blackhole right now and those 2nd rounders aren't gonna hurt a team with the draft and prospect equity of the Canes rn. Thanks anyway, appreciate it!

1 for 1 maybe, no picks. Skjei’s flaws are apparent but he is still new to this system. Its not an easy one. At the same time Kreider would be a fit for us but carries a bunch of risk in the back end of his deal due to his age.

Skjei and Kreider have equal "bad" contracts. Kreider will perform and contribute more than Skjei. I've watched them forever. I assure you that.

1v1 would get Jeff Gorton fired and likely kidnapped and never seen again before leaving MSG.

    Im not worried about Gorton.

I don’t take much time worrying about Skjei’s production in the Rangers new system. Its pretty atrocious for defenders who aren’t greater defenders. It makes them look worse. The Canes system will make him look better especially with Pesce helping him out. I don’t think we’ll see the 16-17 Skjei in Carolina but we’ll see something better than the last 2 years.

That Danault offer would get my attention. I’d want an upgrade on Gauthier, but I like starting with Roslovic and a first

Moore's contract isn't as bad as staal's. Bruins aren't gonna have to give up a 2nd to get rid of him.

Danault is a major player. I’m not saying no. I’m saying no to Gauthier. He’s a first rd pick. Take him out of the deal and put another 1st in the deal instead. I’d do that.

Basically, you’ve proven my point that Gauthier has no value in this deal.

Danault is a Selke worthy forward with great 5v5 offensive stats, and wins 55% of his draws in a shutdown role. A young player and a 1st doesn’t get it done.

@ 2.75 mill. He's not a completely useless player, in fact he's actually quite decent I would say. He's struggled a bit after his shoulder surgery, but it hasn't helped that the bruins have so much depth in the backend that has pushed him out of a spot. Honestly the Bruins could waive him and some team would pick him up.

I think If Moore's contract costs a 2nd to move, theyll just hold him or save a million or so by sending him down. Also, i can see a team wanting a veteran presence on their third pair, and take him on for less. Hes still a decent player, over paid by a million more or less? sure, but hes not a liability.

Nils Lundkvist is untouchable (unless it's for a 1C) so that Anaheim trade would have to be reworked.
