Not really, Shatty, Killorn and Johnson are probably the only big pieces leaving

Cirelli and Sergachev are greatly overpaid in this scenario

Yeah and there's no sweetheart deals to get players like Maroon and Shattenkirk in a pandemic.

I dont see how they can move Johnson with the full NTC. I could see them keeping Johnson for the expansion draft and Tyler can go home to Washington state to play for the Kraken. Their cap problems wont be over soon in a pandemic.

Winnipeg or Montreal will offer sheet Cirelli 6 million+ with their eyes blindfolded and any sane team is willing to offer a 6.5+ million deal to a star D man like Sergy

Well first Johnson doesn't have a NMC he has a NTC, massive difference.

Johnson has won the cup now so he might be satisfied with his time in Tampa.

Johnson doesn't have to waive for expansion draft, Tampa can just choose to not protect him, also his contract changes in a year to a M-NTC anyways so It might be in his best interest to choose a location now. Players waive NTC's all the time

They will offer that on a 5-6 year deal. These are 2 year deals. Term is equally as important as pay. Also no chance Montreal is offering anything to Cirelli. WPG might but he wont leave Tampa for the Tundra

Only thing I've heard (and this is not at all from a legitimate source) is that Johnson won't waive to any Canadian teams

The problem with that is it puts the qualifying offer very high. Much like what Edmonton is dealing with right now as they have to qualify AA at 3 million. They are protected in a way

Everyone saying this always forgets that the players do not have to sign those offer sheets. No one is leaving Tampa for a mediocre or fringe playoff team. Brayden Point turned down $8.5+ mil from Montreal just last season, as an example.
