2020 Mock Before the Finals

Damn you! All (not quite, but most) of my favorite potential 2nd rounders are gone before the Leafs pick. I hope you are wrong in your projection.

What a nightmarish (but realistic) run of picks 28-34 from a Kings fan perspective. I'm really hoping one of them drops, as I like all of them more than I like Colangelo. Not a huge fan of the second round haul for LA.

All it takes is a couple of D to go early for one to drop, which usually seems to happen. So I have a decent amount of hope for it.

Also, thank you for picking Byfield. I don't think there's anyway the Kings pass over him.

So why do u think Schneider is going that high?

Agreed, the Jets take Sanderson over Schneider.

I like the second round alot. 1st round is wacky but I have Rossi at 3 so I shouldnt be talking. Good mock overall.

I think that with Morrissey plus Heinola, Samberg and Stanley in the pipeline on that side, the Jets will come down on Schneider rather than Sanderson. But I agree it's close -- very close.

If this is the way the board plays out I'd bet Lundell is our pick. Really hope Rossi or Perfetti fall to us so I don't have to want to be proven wrong about Lundell...

I'd love Brisson in the 2nd. That would be a great pick.

Unless someone like Justin Barron or Helge Grans drops into the second round (and I've seen mocks where one of them does), I think the Kings' choices there will be between homeboy Brendan Brisson and RWs Martin Chromiak, Sam Colangelo and Brandon Coe. But you're right -- Wallinder or Poirier, in particular, could go higher.
