The trademark for the Buffalo Sabres' primary logo from 1996 to 1999 expired back in May. Whether by design, or a by-product of the massive organizational purge, the organization only submitted a new trademark application last week to the USPTO. pic.twitter.com/IAysMBD7g3

NHL teams are rolling out these "reverse retro" jerseys and if it were up to me I'd like to see the swords in a circle alternate logo in blue and gold for an alternate jersey.
