OTT/TOR - Dorion has said they will be looking to use some of their draft capital to acquire players with higher cap hits but low real dollars to help the team take a step forward. Both Freddy and AJ fit that category. TOR & OTT do have a recent history of making sizable deals.

CGY/TOR - CGY are likely letting Jankowski go to free agency, by not qualifying him, so he's not a factor in this deal. It's mainly Engvall/Kerfoot for Bennett and a late pick. (4th through 6th). I think CGY would be more interested in Kerfoot as a winger, perhaps on a line with Dube. Leafs can give Bennett a shot back at center.

TOR/NYR - Two good young players being swapped. TOR needs a goalie to tandem with Campbell, while NYR can use a LHD, especially now with Staal off the roster. Could argue minor additions on either side, but I think this is a solid base that makes sense for both teams needs versus surplus.
