Seems like Montreal gets shafted. In the Athletic, though, their guy speculated that Domi almost likely would not be back next season, and that Montreal was just displeased with him. So if that situation is really bad and they don’t even want him, gaining a Wahlstrom makes some sense. Only way it makes any sense in my mind, though, because they’re clearly getting the worst return.

    He’s more correct than one would imagine, I have been surprised on many occasions

    He’s pretty much always right. The only times he isn’t proven right is if a deal just doesn’t happen. He’s as reliable as any of the insiders like Friedman, LeBrun, or Johnston.

    This is very interesting. It seems like the Isles would definitely be getting Laine, since the habs are rumoured to not be interested anymore. I just hope that we get more than just Wahlstrom for Domi.
