You aren’t getting Bennett (let alone Bennett +) for Andersen. It’s not happening. It is baffling that so many Leaf fans see that deal as fair, but Bennett has two huge fans (Treliving and Conroy), who have both wanted him to play at centre and they finally have a coach who did it and he lit it up.

I can't see the Leafs getting very far with Matt Murray as your number 1. His underlying numbers haven't been great.

If you only look at points, its no wonder you think Freddy is worth more. But ill try to explain, Bennett had 8 pts in 10 games in the playoffs and was probably the most impactful player for us on both sides of the ice, especially physically. Freddy is a mid tier goalie who has a tendency to disappear when it matters most, thats also only signed for one more year with no guarantee of re-signing when there are also plenty of goalies on the market that are better and won't cost us too much. So if you guys actually look at the situation instead of thinking its an NHL20 like trade you would understand why we get annoyed seeing this exact trade 47 times a day.
