Hawks are gonna pass on that and there’s no point in getting a goalie with term because then one of them will be taken in the expansion draft

Insanity
1- Rossi might be available at 8, and if not then Holtz will be
2- there’s lots of goalies out there to be had. Paying a 1st for a goalie is a terrible idea

You wouldn't seriously give up 8OA for Bish right? especially with all the FA goalies?

I think he is solid. Don't want an older fleury in trade, holtby will be a ton, don't want anderson, smith, elliott, or talbot. Markstrom going to have better options. Greiss might be good. Bishop got a low number in salary. Willing to over pay to improve

I do think we need a goalie upgrade though
I’d much rather go after Markstrom as a free agent then pay a 1st for Bishop,
especially in this draft

You’re nuts dude. Strome isn’t getting a 1st

Uh, you're nuts Dude. Since his development was mismanaged by Arizona (they are know not to develop players well), and coming to Chicago, Strome has averaged .70ppg at the age of 21 and 22 years old. For a 23 RFA, former #3OA, 2C putting up .70 ppg, you are absolutely wrong to think that he isn't worth a 1st. He's out produced Cerelli (.56ppg) and Domi at the age of 25 is only averaging .76ppg which would be his closest comparable.

Bottom line, you aren't getting Strome for this package and Hawks have zero interest in Montour. You should actually understand the other team's needs if you're going to be taken seriously.

And you should stop speaking like you know what the Hawks GM is thinking

He had a down season this year, and got dropped down to 3C bc of it
There’s no way u guys get a 1st for Strome unless someone is moronic

Also... that doesn’t mean i think he sucks
And... I’m not the one who proposed this trade

Will he though?
If Lehner is signing for $5mil per reportedly,
then i doubt he costs $2mil more
But even IF we did have to pay him 7mil,
that’s better than giving up a top10 pick in the draft
MUCH better

You should stop speaking like you know what you're talking about. He was not dumped down to 3C, he and Dach were switching it up and blending lines including the playoffs where Dach played mostly 3C.

And I guess Cerelli, who is way less productive ppg then Strome, or Domi who is slightly more productive ppg isn't worth a 1st. Your nuts man, there's not a chance we trade him for anything less then a 1st and prospect unless it's a top 20 pick this year. Not going to happen plain and simple. We are perfectly happy with Toews, Strome and Dach.

Nobody is trading Buffalo a 23 year old .70ppg 2C for anything less then a 1st.
