Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Johnsson/Larsson Trade-The oilers want wingers and the leafs want a defensive RD, Larsson's contract expires after this year so we wouldn't have to protect him from expansion.

Gauthier/Kesler trade-The leafs could use their large market size to take on Kesler's salary and put him on LTIR. The leafs would get a free 4th and it wouldn't affect their cap. The Ducks would get a 4C and wouldnt have to pay Kesler's salary.

Kerfoot trade-This is just a cap dump to sign some UFAs and we would be getting a good defensemen prospect who plays in the SHL

UFAs: Tj Brodie is someone who the leafs have been looking at for a while and would fit on the team and he plays on the right side. Wayne Simmonds would add girt to the team and he wants to play for the leafs so he wouldn't cost that much. Bobby Ryan would be a great depth forward we could get at league minimum because he will be making money from his buyout.

Lol ya a solid top 4rd for a 3rd line winger that would most likely be dropped to 4th line in Edmonton sounds like a brilliant idea. Let’s just keep adding term and overpaid players for depth roles. Oilers are in the market for wingers but in the market for good ones easy pass.

Johnsson is a scoring middle 6 forward who can possibly fit into your top6 and you're also getting Dermott's RFA rights. Larsson isn't worth as much because his contract expires after this season...it's not like he's worth like Taylor Hall or something.

The wings have shown interest in Kerfoot as a 2C and had back to back 40+ point seasons in Colorado. But you might be right, the leafs would have to add to the trade.

Gauthier has very low trade value because he's an RFA and the leafs don't need him. Kesler has negative trade value so it evens out for the 4th.

I wouldn’t touch johnsson. Dermott just blocks better youthful options in jones broberg Bouchard. This would be an extremely easy pass in my opinion.
