I think it's a decent idea for the Canucks but there's too much value between Virtanen and a 3rd for dumping a one year contract and taking a contract back.

Canucks would be interested in Hinostroza.

Add Hinostroza and the deal is good as is on Nucks side?

It also depends on what Hinostroza's next contract looks like. I'm assuming it would probably be in the 2M - 3M range?

I think if you replaced Grabner with Hinostroza it would be closer. What do you think?

I don’t know how qualifying offers work but he doesn’t deserve more than $1.5 IMO. I think the coyotes would be comfortable trading either or both

I would not trade Donato for Raanta. One year left on his contract, he is not worth that much.

Just doing a quick check I believe Hinostroza's qualifying offer is 1.5M. I think if he signs for under 2M, which seems likely, then he would be an interesting add. I was way off in my initial evaluation lol.

Is the price on Dvorak astronomically high?

He becomes expendable with Kazripov coming over no? I’ve seen plenty of wild fans on here saying he should be traded to a better situation. This gets you a starting goalie out of him

He becomes no more or less expendable as about four other guys. Personally, I would prefer to keep Donato as he has the highest offensive potential on the roster after Fiala and Kaprizov. Worst case scenario, we trade him for a pick that will help us in the future, or a similar prospect, or a younger prospect that still has a couple years until he's NHL ready.

Don't see the value in trading him for one year of a 1B goalie when we're not even going to be competitive this season.

Especially given the saturated market for goalies right now, the 3rd is the absolute max I would give for Raanta.
