Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Alzner - Bought out to make cap space.

KK - Depends on season he has. If he develops and puts up 50-70 pts, could sign a short bridge deal like Laine. If somehow he breaks out and puts up 90+ pts could sign 6.5m/4y or 9.5m/8y

Lehky - I think he sighns to a similar contract to before with a sligh raise. 2.5m/3y

Danault - If someone from Montreal's 2021 free agents are going to leave it will probably be Danault. If he does stay than he might sign for 1 mil less than KK's releastic contract and anywhere between 2-4 years. Probably doesn't want to commit to a team where he thinks he is a #1 center but the team puts him at a #3 role. 5.5m/3y

Tatar - If he puts up another 60-70 point seson he will probably sign long term for similar money to Petry and KK. If he disapoints and puts up 30-40 points then he will probably walk, as MTL would have Caufield and whoever they draft in 2020 coming up to take his spot. The lenght could be between 6-8 years. ^ would probably be best, but nothing works out the smart way in the NHL. 6.5m/8y

Gally - Gallagher is the heart and soul of the Habs. He could demand upwards of 8 mil and the habs might give it to him. He probably signs long term and stays in Montreal for the foreseeable future. 8m/8y

Armia - Identical contract to Lekhy. 2.5m/3y

Allen - Allen leaves to make room for Primeau

Of note, the Habs very much have the quality and quantity in their prospect pool to afford paying a team to take that last year of Alzner's deal. Every cent's going to count if Romanov and Suzuki get big boy contracts.

If you buy him out, that additional $1+M isn't. If Gallagher gets anywhere near that on a new deal, and most of Chiarot/Kulak is used to compensate Romanov, I don't see a lot of money left for Suzuki.

he's done well in Montreal, he's liked in the city and the locker room, and he's consistent, found a niche with these young guys which is good for their development too.

but there's no way Bergevin is signing him until he's 37... and there's no way he accepts a contract to 33.

wow your contracts are way out of line... KK gets a bridge deal for 2-3 years under 3 million or he could sign a long range deal at about 5 to 5.5 if he wants security... you don't pay 6.5 mil on potential that has never been demonstrated

and tatar is probably gone after next year and will never get signed till he is 37? That is just crazy... and remember he is not a player who makes others better he is more like 5 million for 3-5 years but probably not in montreal. Canadiens need a sniper and that is not tatar.
