Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Second scenario if the Wild get 9 and 10 OA, they will move one. If the Canes really want Askarov, the Wild need to be a real threat to take him so the deal has to be for 9. I think Greenway could serve for Roslovic in the trade and maybe there is still a value differential, it all depends on if and how much the Canes want Askarov.

Its a thought for how the Wild could get what they need out of a Winnipeg trade since it doesn't seem to work on the face of it. And Dumba is in the Jets MO according to Friedman.

Without getting into the trade values on this. I'm wondering why bother with the Canes trade at all if MN had 9 and 10. They could get 2 of Lundell, Holtz, Sanderson, or the goalie +Roslovic. I'd prefer that over 1 of Lundell, Sandersson, or Holtz + Suzuki + 15oa (Quinn, Guhle, Zary; I'm guessing).

My logic rests on the idea that the Wild aren't sold on Lundell and don't want to deal with signing another KHL star. Its a super tight band from 10 on so I'm not too concerned about picking a specific position so long as we take best available at 9.

I will then ask if you see Necas as a center. If so, you've got 3 young top 6 centers. Why not move one to get your goalie of the future? And this is a scenario that assumes the canes really want Askarov.

I could see the Jets having interest, but I don't see them including 10OA in the deal.

Canes do this trade on draft day depending on who is available at 9, not including Askarov. If one of Lundell, Rossi, Holtz, Raymond or maybe Quinn is available I would do this trade.
