I would be fine with that trade as an Oilers fan more or less but Toronto would have to take cap back to make it work. Edmonton just doesn't have the cap space for that trade, they would have to clear room somewhere else and if they don't clear cap before this trade they will be pressured to make a trade they don't want to do just to get under the cap in time.

I don't think Oilers actually want to trade either Chiasson or Arch. Both give the Oilers something they need at their role/contract. Oilers have 10ish mil in cap to sign a few RFA, mainly Bear plus fill a few holes. Nylander may look good on McDavids wing for years so that box would be checked but with out 5ish mil going the other way I don't think the Oilers can make the trade
