I don't think Kane to the Devils is a fit. First and most important he doesn't waive his no trade for us. Second most of our talent is on the left side anyway. Also the right wing situation on your team is a disaster. I doubt that Arizona deal lands. More likely to get Raanta.

Jets decline. Jets don’t want Simek and teams have reportedly been interested in perreault so he isn’t a cap dump (or at least one that’s going to be that expensive to dump). No way does perreault cost 40 oa to dump so jets decline easily

Raanta is still a massive upgrade on Jones 🤣 and saves 250k against cap too

If you’re gonna take on a bad contract or two, why not just blow it up? I don’t think taking on other bad contracts while keeping all of ours is a very good way to go about a rebuild-ish.

I can see us paying Seattle to takes Jones or Vlasic (if they will waive of course)
