Don't you think Crouse adds some size and physicality that the Sabres need? I did rather give a little more because I didn't want Coyotee fan to ****, what do you think is more appropriate for Kuemper and Crouse.?

Does crouse provide enough offense, even as a power forward, to pay a premium for? I am 100% against paying cap, money, or assets to get a goalie. I say go sign greiss in ufa and keep the assets. Then get thompson a bowflex and a skating coach, and, voila- you get to keep 8oa and see if mittelstadt can actually become a competent nhl middle 6 winger. If you really want crouse, i would say one of our rhd and thompson.

My thinking with the Arizona trade is I'm giving more potential but also more risk for some useful pieces, with Crouse and Virtanen I've increased Sabres size and physicality and I've improved the Goalie position, it may be that in two years this trade looks terrible as Holtz or Rossi or Sanderson come into their own, it's possible the course of action is patience but I'm a little scared that Eichel is really gonna want a trade if we don't make the playoffs this year.

Virtanen can skate, and theres a good chance he helps make us better. Not sure i would say the same for crouse. The virtanen deal does make sense though.
