I think it would be a mistake to move johnsson now, instead we move kerfoot, Holl, engvall and other prospects/picks

To many moves to be realistic but this is the type of balance I would look for

NSH declines. The Preds want Kerfoot even less than Leafs fans do. Bonino is worth at least a 2nd without retention.

So you do want him? Because the leafs want him just not as much as they don't want to move one of the big four. If there was enough money I would keep him.

NSH doesn't want him at all. They have a surplus of centers, so they wouldn't be looking to take one back if they trade one. With the retention on Bonino factored in, NSH would be paying more for Kerfoot than they currently do for Bonino. I'd rather have Bonino over Kerfoot, any day of the week.

Talbot played 26 games. Take that in. The fact you fans think Freddy is the problem is laughable, sad, and honestly disrespectful to him. Yeah he’s no Gibson, but man...if he was on a team like the Isles for example he’d win Vezina. He’s literally carried that team for years.

I don't think Freddy is the problem I never did. But in this scenario I needed to cut costs at that position. It could have been placeholder goalie for all I care. But Freddy has failed us in big games 0-8 in elimination games, but that's also the team.

Yes but I’m saying so why would Talbot be the solution or really any of the ufa goalies. He got outdueled by korpisalo who literally went onto making what 98 saves next round in a single game? Idk if I’d fault Freddie for losing to quite easily the first or second hottest goalie of this entire playoffs (I’d still hold Jonas that high, only khudobin has an argument more then him)

The team holds as much blame as they got beat by the blue jackets team not just Freddie vs Jonas.

Trading a player from the big 4 forwards is the most sensical to me, keep Freddie, let him play out the contract and see where you’re at at the end
