Marner is great. Thats not a question, but OTT wont be good for 2 years. We will have 3 years of Marner before he either extorts Melnyk for more than he is worth or until he walks. No contract control on the end of Marners deal is a dealbreaker for a team at the base of rebuild.

Also three years of Marner is at least 240 points over three seasons, 80 points/year. I dunno, that could attract gate revenue (which should be a league wide issue) - I’d sure go to a game once they open up if they had a guy like that. I’m pumped to see Ottawa do well with their draft picks, they’re my second team (and I live there).
