If there's Matheson included, then they will be taking a stabilizing contract. Add to the pile the fact that their center depth after moving Barkov is practically non-existent - Stastny would become a supplementary 1C of Panthers team immediately... In this exchange, Stastny IS a beneficial asset for them.
