BOS-NYI Trade
Bruins acquire a top-4 LHD replacement for Torey Krug and an NHLer at the league minimum salary. Isles acquire a versatile bottom-6er, a 3rd round pick, and gain cap space.
ANA-NYI Trade
Ducks acquire a strong RHD prospect and a 3rd round pick, along with taking on Boychuk's contract. Isles acquire a struggling but promising LW prospect and a reserve forward, and gain cap space.
WPG-NYI Trade
A bigger Johansen-for-Jones, Hall-for-Larsson type deal. The Jets acquire a top-pairing RHD who can play on 25 minutes a night and have a booming shot on their PP, an elite bottom-6 center (replacing Eakin), a goal-scoring LW prospect who showed some flashes in the NHL, and a 1st round pick. Isles acquire a young goal scoring phenom to play with Barzal, a reserve defenseman with some promise, and a 3rd round pick.
UFAs
Tyson Barrie - 4 years, $5M/year
As much as I love Pulock, Barrie could be a better fit for NYI by strengthening a very weak PP. Barrie is not as good defensively, but is a better puck mover and PPQB than Pulock, and his defensive mistakes can be covered by Pelech at even strength. Barrie also does not need to be on the top pair to be successful, and gives Dobson more of an opportunity to get towards that top pair with Pelech vs. Pulock who has a lock on it while he's here.
Andy Greene - 1 year, $1M
He played great hockey for NYI, give him another year to go for it. Trotz said multiple times during the return-to-play training camp that the Greene-Dobson pairing was his best, but they never got a chance to play together in a meaningful game.
RFAs
Mat Barzal - 2 years, $6.75M/year
Identical to Laine's bridge deal given the tight cap. He'll get his money when the cap rises and helps the team in a cap constraint.
Devon Toews - 2 years, $2.5M/year
This one is not very likely, but Arthur Staple seems to think it's a possibility given his struggles in the playoffs and the flat cap. This will take him to UFA, but might be a risk NYI will have to take. (reference to Staple: https://theathletic.com/2080519/2020/09/21/twenty-two-things-we-learned-about-the-islanders-during-the-postseason-part-1/)
Sami Niku - 2 years, $850K
Sebastian Aho - 2 years, $800K
Grant Hutton - 2 years, $800K
I don't think that's enough to unload Boychuk. Backes with retention cost a good prospect and a first and got Kase. Kase is probably worth more than Jones and Wilde is a better prospect than Andersson, but you're still going to have to up the pick or add $1.5 or $2 million retention, especially if you also want Carrick (who got a 5-game tryout at RW this season).

Ducks fans have liked this trade in the past if you look up past AGMs.
I don't understand how this helps the Isles get better. Sure Laine is a great improvement offensively but moving both Leddy, Pulock, and Boychuck out of the line-up for Barrie and Lindholm doesn't seem like a great move.
