He can play C/LW depending on injuries, but I'd start him out at C here first. I believe he would consistently hit 60-65+ on the Aves talented Top 6.

With Mtl signing Edmunson they don't need anymore Dmen and they need to offload Kulak and/or Mete.

Why would the Avs want a small wing for 8(!) years at that price? They want to be bigger on the wing and not have a non-core player signed forever with a bunch of big contracts coming up and a guy like Newhook looking to take over at 2C after Kadri's deal is over.

thats the established price for a player like that. look at pageau - 1st, 2nd, conditional 3rd. so 1st, zadorov (2nd), and beaucage (3rd). pretty standard return. avs might be able to get danault for less considering his comments and him being shopped.

I disagree with you because Danault and Gallagher are each were more than Pageau, who is a solid 3rd line center. Danault's comments on the radio mean a lot less than what you think and he isn't being "shopped" lol. Anyways...conversation is meaningless because Danault won't be traded.
