Pushing Barabanov and Mikheyev to get 15 more Points then they should cause leetching on Core 4 and being on the block for next Expansion Draft for Seattle together with Engvall.

Hate loosing Hyman, but hes in his last year and im shipping him out for the last 9 months, hes next 5 x 5M contract wont be doable

Letting Andersen walk after the Season cause Goalies are definitely more valuable to the current Team then they are in trade capital, so as appreciation for 5 years of suffering behind mediocre built D

Hunting Allen for 4 x 5M in next years FA

LA ( so i wont spam the site with additional simulation ):

    Iaffalo - Kopitar – Brown
    Hyman – Villardi – Wagner ( or Lewis re-signed )
    Johnsson – Lizotte – Carter
    Moore – Prokhorin – Frk

    7.000.000 – Doughty
    Hutton – Walker ( Hutton 3 x 3M )
    Dermott – MacDermid

    @OldNYIfan

For the butthurts about Pietrangelo AAV not being 11M ( ofc all the other Teams would be entitled for less here on this Site ):

todays reports where he was offered 7 x 7,7M by Armstrong but they couldnt come to the Terms cause of restrictions in NMC, bonuses and such. While TML and Dubarelli are notorius for FRONT-LOADING....lets just say he will get all the small printed conditions he will want to and bunch of money in front....and with that said at the end of day you can even sign him in TML for 5 x 7,7M.

Not to mention David Copperfield of Cap called Pridham.

Wagner is not a 2nd line player. Prokhorkin signed a contract in the KHL. Hutton isn't good. That defensive spot will belong to Mikey Anderson.

The value skews in the Kings direction, but they're very high on Kempe, and I'm not sure this is a trade that either side would consider. It's a more than reasonable offer, but I don't think the Kings would trade Kempe. Swap Kempe for Iafallo in the deal and I think the Kings would go for it.

Detroit isn't paying anything close to a reasonable price for Kerfoot and Holl to help the Leafs with their cap problems. Leafs have no leverage here

Where are you seeing 7x7.7? I saw Rutherford report 7.7 aav but that could be 8 years if the Blues are trying to keep the AAV down. So you'd be looking at 7x8.8 as the equivalent, not 5x7.7, regardless of how front loaded it is. Also, the Blues offered that and talks broke off, so it isnt like that's what it takes to get him. It didn't even return a counter from his side.

What you see here isn't anything close to a reasonable price for both these players - this deal help Detroit significantly more than TO

It wasn't the AAV that has Pietrangelo and the Blues walking away from each other, it's the structure - seems reasonable for Pietrangelo to see what options are out there for Full NMC and as much money up front as legally possible.

My point is that 5x7.7 doesn't equal 8x7.7 no matter how hard its front loaded with SBs or which clauses it includes.

Super embarrassing that the Blues came in so low AND apparently won't talk contract details with him. I guess they really think he'll shop around and not find what he wants... which is extremely bold when you consider he doesnt even want that much (I've seen 8.5 to 9.25 as the rough AAV demand) unsure

Missed you have Lewis on IR, as for Wagner, then its even better, i just packed your whole 2nd Line with quality, Johnsson - Villardi - Hyman

I know LAK is high on Kempe but....im a Swede so so am I, must stick with our kid instead Iaffalo. I need to reprise Renberg - Sundin - Höglund line wearing Blue.

This is correct, leafs fans are all morons. These bottom 6 guys who suck will help you so much! I mean they can't help us get out of the first round but for a team that has barely any talent these guys will really give you so much value!!

Dont lose your panties you two....i admit i completely forgot how packed with talent you are ...so you are probably right, you should stick with 3rd Rounders ( like Saarijarvi and Turgeon ) and 4th Rounders ( like Ehn and Pope ) to bring you a brighter days.

Fun Fact : Kerfoot would be No4 Forward quality wise right away and Holl No3 D or even No2 quality wise on your talent-packed Team, but hey....

Rather have the picks then these pieces for crap. You can keep them and we'll just continue our rebuild through the draft and be patient with it unlike your team that's in cap trouble and trying to give us your overpaid losers. Kerfoot is our 4th best forward at 9 goals and 19 assists? You can keep that 3.5 million dollar hit job.

Not my fault honey, dont take it on me.....

Same as i responded to Rja, seems like current course of Pietrangelo situation pushed you guys over the edge....even the reasonable ones from your fanbase ( as you and Rja for sure were of the rare ones who didnt wave around how Pietrangelo will stay cause hes married to the St.Louis girl and such ) and now you are acting in vain with arguments of TML homers

Told to myself back in February i wont try to explain logic anymore to some »bots from twitter« here that learned hockey from NHL 2018 but in your case i think I need to make an exception cause of the above said.

    1) If it was 8 x 7,7M then i think its blatantly impudent from Armstrong to came up with somethin like that toward one of Top10 Ds in the League which are commanding 10+M at that point of their career, cause that would be literally pushing him to leave 2,8M on the table

    2) So it was 7 x 7,7M or even 6 x 7,7M, both lowballing the player

My take in this simulation is 6 x 8,5M which is again completely on the spot especially with front-loading

    Contract breakdown explanation
    8 x 10,5M
    7 x 9,6M
    6 x 8,6M
    5 x 7,6M

So even cause i should play on his Home-town discount to be asked for, i didnt , opposed to Armstrong with his version of "you-were-allowed-to-marry-one-of-our-girls" discount

well, i dont want to gloat here, but you know i nailed quite a few things already in this past two years and if you guys would jump on my bandwagon about what Bear Bryant said, we would post "same" Simulations for way way longer....
