On our roster, he’s a number five. Toews and Pelech are just better than Leddy. He’s also just a bad fit for a Trotz system. I’d say he’s a middle pairing guy. Just because Isles fans are clamoring to offload his contract, it doesn’t mean he’s not worth the money. He’s just redundant to have at this point.

Two minor leaguers and a fifth for taking on Boychuk's contract? I don't think so. I think more along the lines of Boychuk with $1.5 million retained, Bode Wilde and your 2020 third for Max jones.
