That is way too much. OEL is still a good player but he has definitely regressed the last couple of years and has a big cap number and lots of term for a player that is almost 30. Plus he plays the same role as Dahlin. Top PP, top pair left shot puck moving D.

Buffalo is no shinning beacon, but im not so sure they wouldn't waive to get out of Arizona. The reports out of their about payroll might make players a little more willing to waive to any team.
