Description

In today's AGM cap adventure: Lehner becomes a cutthroat and demands more money.
Pietrangelo wants 9m and Vegas gives it to him.
They extend Martinez 3 years at 3.75m and move out Schmidt & Marchessault.
Fleury does NOT get traded in the offseason, so they grab an RFA and they all sit around together playing cards until a team needs a goaltender during the season.

Hard pass from the bruins. That Does not Help them all that much. yes they get two fantastic players, but they get handcuffed to two contracts that are decent now, but may not be in the near future. With Mcavoy and carlo needing new deals soon, these contracts will not help.

There are a bunch of problems with that boston trade, but i think the main problem with this ACGM is that you trade for Debrusk and then can’t even sign him. Doesn’t make a ton of sense.

Because Schmidt plays RD even though he’s a left shot. Marchy not that much of an upgrade over Debrusk. Debrusk has averaged 25g per 82g. Marchy 26 per 82. Debrusk younger, cheaper, more upside. Rather have JD. Schmidt not worth the other 3 to B’s. And they have cap issues to consider. It is a fairly easy no. Tuch in place of Marchy. We talk.
