they wouldn't look to move kuemper for another goalie whos worse and on a 1 year deal. I would think at least that they would move arguably their best trade asset to get more in return than that.

I think we are because we have pietro on the backend instead of ceci. Great 3rd line and they have Robertson who can get 20 goals in his rookie season maybe.

the reason why this is fair imo is because arizona don't have a lot of real money. Andersen last year on his contract is worth 1 mil in real money. leafs pay the 1 mil owed to Hossa while giving them a 2nd round pick just to retain 500k for 2 years.

Yeah, i agree arizona has no real money to pay. but what im saying is that they would not look to trade kuemper to really take back players they need to pay money to anyways, they would want picks or prospects primarily who would be cheaper than Andersen. But also one year of Freddy on a cheap deal probably doesn't mean much to them, the coyotes have said they are looking to sell off pieces, so im sure theyd be happy to pay 1m to a random FA goalie to be a goalie whether they're bad or not. They also just signed adin hill to a 1-way deal and I'm sure they expect him to make the team with raanta.

Rumors? Or random guys on the internet? He’s not taking a deal that has him as a UFA at 34. I think you’ve got a better chance at getting him on a one year deal than a 4 year deal.
