hawks decline that trade

Think the Canucks decline this trade. Value is not bad, but Juolevi has looked good and will likely make the team. Trading him now would be selling low. Also don't think Murphy is good enough to replace Tanev. If that's the case, he's too expensive for Van.

If you have the athletic the canucks guy put Murphy on a list of trade targets, I believe he compared him to Tanev, but not sure. Would make an excellent partner for Hughes.

I did read it. Article implies that Cernak would be a better target.

Murphy has two issues: not a good puck mover, and a little older than Vancouver’s core.

Not a bad fit for Vancouver, but there may be better fits.
