Description

Apparently we lowballed Petro at 7.7 AAV. Then reports came out that it was 2 mil under his asking price. If that's the case, we can move on without him. Granlund/Smith are two options I'd love for us to add.

Down for the Jets acquiring Bozak if he'll come to Winnipeg but not trading Gawanke for him, he's one of the Jets few RHD prospects and he had a pretty good first pro season with the Moose.

id rather target a defenseman in free agency to replace petro. gunarsson/bortuzzo is ideally 6/7 not a 3rd pair, i also don't like the idea of scandella in the top 4

I think Gunnarsson and Scandella can rotate on the second pair. If either struggles, we have Mikkola waiting in the wings. I think Perunovich needs a year to bulk up.

Hmmm for Bozak idk, the Jets prospect pool has gotten really shallow and they're either not ones you'd want to part with for a guy like Bozak or they're of little value to the Blues, would probably be best if it was just a mid round pick.
