Description
The more this gets talked about the more I'm liking the direction it's headed. I think there are still pieces of this deal that need to be ironed out but it's a move it'd like to see (made an attempt here, kinda just randomly threw picks in)

Also made a Hall signing, which I'll do in every ACGM until it happens IRL :P

And a Murray trade. Still think this move makes a lot of sense from both teams.

3rd/4th C position is a bit of a toss up, we could fill from within or sign someone from outside the organization; I just haven't looked too much into the FA bottom-6 Centre pool all that much.

You are way over valuing Monahan. Maybe take out the 1st and then the deal is fair.

i don't think your that far off, but I do think the problem is JG not necessarily mony. I think if anything mony should be a 2 C on this team and a 1C would be ideal to find, though very difficult.

If I am asked to give up one of either - JG SM or EL it will be SM everytime. Not saying EL is a bonafide #1C but he is certainly not a downgrade to SM and he brings a lot more to the table defensively.

Agreed. I think we're looking at if the shake-up needs to/does happen there's a trade there with Minny that makes sense for both teams. For me EL's contract is a big reason why I wouldn't move him and a line of JG-EL-TH would be incredible.

Also, the Flames are not in a position where they have to trade anybody, so teams really do need to sell us on the deal otherwise we're happy keeping SM and finding a different solution to our D lineup.

And yeah, the 1st is a little pricey...happy if it was just Kunin myself but others don't feel that it's enough (Dumba+Kunin). So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
