Yes, but in the correct situation, he's more suited for 2nd pairing and PP time than being counted on to be a "Defenceman" in the mold TOR needed him. If the role he is in is more like the one he had in COL he will be closer to the player he was there than in TOR

He is good at shooting the puck on the powerplay. He does move the puck well. He just can't defend worth a darn. Gets lost in the dzone, can't move guys from the front of the net. If you have somebody else who can help him with that, he might be okay.

I wouldn't pay that much though.

If he would be in a situation closer to the one he was in while in COL I would say yes, if he would be used how he was in TOR I would say no

Not likely. Problem with Barrie is finding room for him 5-5. He needs to be sheltered to some degree which means he doesn’t replace larsson like him or not he doesn’t get destroyed 5-5 against tough competition. Bears spot is safe. So Barrie, benning or bouch for final spot on right side. Barrie is by far most costly and bouch has all the same tools would be looking for in Barrie so I personally don’t like him as a target.
