I think dubas is gonna revamp this dcore and bring 2 guys in. Holl will be moved down to be with Lehtonen which makes sense as Lehtonen is better offensively while Holl is better in his own end

Cause if he can bring in Hamonic/Braun and Demelo or something like that we get a true shutdown pair in Muzzin-Demelo and Rielly-Hamonic or Braun can do some damage. Made a team like this a while ago and surprisingly made the cap hits work.

Still though even if not im okay with Muzzin-Holl the only issue is when muzzin is out Holl at top 4 does not look as good.

I think you are going to be disappointed. With Muzzin - Holl solidified as the shut down pairing, Dubas is going to leave space for his young guys (Dermott, Lehtonen, Sandin or Liljegren) to grow into. Hes not going to go shopping in free agency, hold on to players who are low on value right now like Johnsson and Dermott, and if noone grows into that Rielly partner, use them to shop at the trade deadline when the limited cap space is easier to deal with.

Everybody on here is rushing to find a fix while the Leafs have time to take it slow.
