for a guy who over the last 3 years is one of the top-20 goal scoring LW at 5v5. Boston is in win now mode and need more secondary scoring. A 2nd rounder will be lucky to make an NHL roster in 3 years and most d-men take a few years of NHL TOI to really craft their game.

Personally I’m not sure why Boston would want to trade DeBrusk but it’s the rumor that was out there. The offer I gave is what I would be willing to pay. DeBrusk has upside yes, but he also hasn’t done it so far. He has 3 around 40 point seasons while he has yet to top 70 games played.

You are swapping Reimer for Kuemper and Hill for Raanta. Not Reimer for Raanta. 5.5 mil versus 1.6 million.
