I figured edmonton would address their defense since that was what killed them in the playoffs. They add a solid second pairing guy and ADA who finally is living up to his draft pedigree with 53 points in 67 games. Plus getting a goalie and Andersson who is starting off this year tearing up the SHL. But yeah buch is involved in buffalo deal and I don’t think rangers would include kravtsov on top of what they are giving up. If anything, he’d go to buffalo as they are giving up the biggest piece (eichel)

No you wouldnt, because you wouldnt have eichel. Eichel is going to cost the 1st overall plus more. lafreniere is not as bad as Hischer as the 1st overall, but he is not in the same breathe as Matthews and others.

He is a step behind the three m’s according to bob Mac. So is eichel. But still, value wise the trade is probably the best buffalo will get from any team as no team will completely decimate their future

I know it would take a huge amount of picks and a good forward back to get him but I didn't make this team and it's just how I'd put the lines together if this were ever to happen, it would definitely make a deadly team though

what 3 m's? Eichel has a better two way game, not a great two way game, but better than Matthews. And has a same to similar PPG as matthews the last 3 years.

Now we definitely don't trade Eichel

Mcdavid, mackinnon, matthews. Obviously eichel is close to Matthews, but matthews has been better when comparing seasons (matthews first to eichels first, 2nd to 2nd, etc)

Matthews has had the advantage of not having to completely carry his team. Toronto bought Tavares to help him.
