Ek was almost a 1/2 point/game player with zero PP time and matching up against the opponent’s toughest lines all season long. He’s not Connor McDavid, but he is better offensively than most people realize. I would take 3 centers just like him and take my chances against anyone!

My honest thought on this trade is Kunin is getting traded with Dumba somewhere.
Bjugstad can be the 3c but counting on him to stay healthy is a horrendous plan so Johansson is back up 3C. Also I think Rask may live out the rest of his days in the AHL.

That sounds like a really good 3C to me.

I mean other than teams which have no centre depth he is a 3C. If he improves as much as he did from last season to this then I would say he is a legit 2C.

I live in Calgary and I would say that team has no good centre depth. Monahan and backlund are both 2C’s. Lindholm May be there best centre and he plays the wing. But again... I would consider him a good 2C.
